Effective date: May 26, 2026

Last updated: May 26, 2026

This Privacy Policy explains how JV10 Academy ("JV10 Academy," "we," "us," or "our") collects, uses, and discloses information when you visit the website located at [jv10academy.com](https://jv10academy.com) (the "Site"). This policy applies to the Site only. The JV10 Academy mobile and desktop application has its own privacy notice presented in-app at sign-up.

If you do not agree with this Privacy Policy, please do not use the Site.

## 1. Who We Are

JV10 Academy operates the Site to provide information about our youth athletic training programs, schedules, staff, and registration pathways. For the purposes of this policy, JV10 Academy is the controller of the personal information collected through the Site.

## 2. Information We Collect

We collect the following categories of information when you use the Site.

### a. Information you provide directly

When you contact us, sign up for a newsletter, request information about a program, or otherwise submit a form on the Site, you may provide:

- Identity and contact details — name, email address, phone number, mailing address (if you choose to provide it).

- Family and program interest details — for example, the age of the player you are inquiring about, the program of interest, and any free-text notes you include in a message.

- Correspondence content — the contents of any email, message, or form you send to us.

We do not collect payment information through the Site. Any payments for programs are handled inside the JV10 Academy application or through a separate payment processor with its own privacy practices.

### b. Information collected automatically

When you visit the Site, certain information is collected automatically by your browser or our hosting and analytics providers:

- Device and connection data — IP address, approximate geographic location derived from IP, browser type and version, operating system, device type, screen size, language preference, and referring URL.

- Usage data — pages viewed, time spent on pages, links clicked, search terms used on the Site, and date and time stamps.

- Cookies and similar technologies — see Section 6 ("Cookies and Tracking") below.

### c. Information from third parties

We may receive limited information from service providers that help us operate the Site (for example, analytics providers or a content delivery network). We do not buy personal information about you from data brokers.

## 3. How We Use Information

We use information collected through the Site for the following purposes:

- To respond to inquiries, scheduling requests, and program questions you send us.

- To send program updates, newsletters, or other communications you have requested (you can unsubscribe at any time).

- To operate, maintain, secure, and improve the Site, including diagnosing technical problems, preventing fraud and abuse, and understanding how visitors use the Site.

- To enforce our [Terms of Service](./terms-of-service.md) and protect the rights, property, or safety of JV10 Academy, our staff, our participants, or the public.

- To comply with applicable laws, regulations, court orders, or other legal obligations.

We do not use information collected through the Site to make solely automated decisions that produce legal or similarly significant effects about you.

## 4. Legal Bases (Where Applicable)

Where the General Data Protection Regulation or the UK GDPR applies, we rely on the following legal bases:

- Consent for analytics cookies and marketing communications, where required.

- Legitimate interests to operate, secure, and improve the Site.

- Contract to respond to requests you submit and to provide information you ask for.

- Legal obligation to comply with applicable law.

You may withdraw consent at any time without affecting the lawfulness of processing before withdrawal.

## 5. How We Share Information

We do not sell personal information. We share information only in the following circumstances:

- Service providers. We use third-party vendors to host the Site, deliver content, send email, and analyze usage. These vendors only process information on our behalf and under contractual confidentiality and data-protection obligations. Categories include web hosting, email delivery, analytics, and security/anti-abuse providers.

- Legal and safety. We may disclose information when we believe in good faith that disclosure is necessary to comply with a legal obligation, respond to lawful requests from public authorities, enforce our agreements, or protect the rights, property, or safety of JV10 Academy, our participants, or others.

- Business transfers. If JV10 Academy is involved in a merger, acquisition, financing, reorganization, bankruptcy, or sale of assets, information may be transferred as part of that transaction. We will notify you (for example, via a notice on the Site) of any change in ownership or use of your personal information.

- With your consent. We may share information for other purposes with your consent or at your direction.

## 6. Cookies and Tracking

The Site uses cookies and similar technologies to operate, secure, and analyze the Site. Cookies fall into the following categories:

- Strictly necessary cookies — required for the Site to function (for example, to remember your cookie preferences). These cannot be disabled through our consent controls.

- Analytics cookies — help us understand how visitors use the Site so we can improve it. These are set only with your consent where required.

- Functional cookies — remember preferences such as language.

You can control cookies through your browser settings and, where offered on the Site, through our cookie banner. Disabling certain cookies may affect how the Site works.

We do not currently respond to "Do Not Track" browser signals, because no common industry standard for honoring them has been adopted. We do honor Global Privacy Control (GPC) signals where required by applicable law as a request to opt out of the "sale" or "sharing" of personal information.

## 7. Children's Privacy

The Site is intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information directly from children under the age of 13 through the Site. Registration of minors for our programs is handled through the JV10 Academy application by a parent or legal guardian, who provides verifiable parental consent and reviews disclosures specific to the application. If we learn that we have collected personal information from a child under 13 through the Site without verifiable parental consent, we will delete it. If you believe a child has provided personal information through the Site, please contact us at [info@jv10academy.com](mailto:info@jv10academy.com).

## 8. Data Retention

We keep personal information collected through the Site only as long as needed for the purposes described in this policy, to comply with our legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. When information is no longer needed, we delete or anonymize it. Inquiry messages are typically retained for up to 24 months after the last interaction, unless a longer period is required by law.

## 9. Security

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect the information we collect through the Site, including transport encryption (HTTPS), access controls on backend systems, and routine security review of our hosting providers. No method of transmission over the internet or method of electronic storage is 100% secure, however, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

## 10. International Transfers

JV10 Academy is based in the State of Georgia, United States. If you access the Site from outside the United States, your information may be transferred to, stored in, and processed in the United States or other countries where our service providers operate. Those countries may have data protection laws different from those of your country. Where required, we use appropriate safeguards (such as Standard Contractual Clauses) for international transfers.

## 11. Your Rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the following rights regarding the personal information we hold about you:

- Access — request a copy of the personal information we hold about you.

- Correction — request that we correct inaccurate or incomplete information.

- Deletion — request that we delete personal information, subject to certain exceptions.

- Portability — request a copy of certain information in a structured, commonly used format.

To exercise any of these rights, contact us at [info@jv10academy.com](mailto:info@jv10academy.com). We will respond within the timeframes required by applicable law. We may need to verify your identity before fulfilling a request. You will not be discriminated against for exercising any of these rights.

If you are in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, or Switzerland, you have the right to lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority. We encourage you to contact us first so we can try to resolve the issue.

### Notice to California residents

If you are a California resident, the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA), as amended by the California Privacy Rights Act (CPRA), provides additional rights.
